If your return line is just a pipe without threads and no other fitting will fit your pool, then the universal fitting is your solution. For the universal fitting to work, the return water flow pipe must be a clear 1 1/2 inches in diameter.

Brian Pheifer This doesn't fit properly. The water pressure blows it off. the cost for shipping is not worth returning. I was able to add a rubber band to the attachment which seems to hold so far.
the product needs some work to adjust the fitting.
